prom festivities and such were very nice. the preparation of dying my dress as i watched buffy was a rather fun yet stressful ordeal (what if the colors are off? what if i spill the dye and stain the kitchen counter and rug?). what if, what if, what if. in the end, the colors came out satisfactory and my general experience was great. getting to see your peers dressed nicely, dancing to fun music, etc is an event you don't get to experience often throughout life, so having an excuse to do so was lovely.
